Once upon a time it was cool for rich hippie kids to sport a T-Shirt of Che Guevara. Later, the Black Panthers became a cause celebre- and of course, it's not uncommon to find T-Shirts celebrating cop killing gangstas or Al Pacino's vicious character in Scarface.
